Time for an update:
Some rusty parts that has been replaced now by new one (on both sides):

Making some room for the roof.
(this is now a real convertible!)

And work on the roof to repair it.
Because it has been cut in 2 in the past for the topchop by the previous owner.

Placed a new sill on one side, next time the other side.

I know the 3 former 2cv's built by the Claessen-family and I can assure you that every car that leaves this workshop looks amazing in it's own style with very high quality finish! If not, it will stay inside !! |

This car will be something totally different compared to our other cars.
It will not be perfectly smooth, but thats the style.
@ azurblade: I'm 2m as well , that's why I moved the inner fenders to the rear.

It's all about the details:
Small boults, nuts, screws, plates, little springs, etc....
Its zinc-plated now. Why better then using the old rusty ones

Back to the channeling:
The 2 sills and the pedal-floor are ready, one floorplate is placed, only have to finish the weldings.
It wasn't easy to get everything lined up, but we've managed it now.
