I think is for this car, the ontos, I believe there is a topic on it in the forum
http://anarchadia.blogspot.com.es/2010/10/vintage-thing-no72-ontos.html
I think there is no necessity to patent this.
pd: I reread the foto caption and confirms that its patented _________________ Snail Forum... distilling good taste.

by the way Olly is thetre any problem with cooling on your reversed engine?
I know it's OK for Finland and those areas but could it survive lets say summer trip to next WM? |

I think it delivers a better weight distribution, espacialy for racing purposes. And if you find a way to reverse the airstream trough the cooling system, the cooling problem will be less. _________________ There's no max to a LoMax !! |

Juan,
since Citroen themselves fitted a 'reversed' engine and gearbox in the Sahara, a precedent was set long ago and I fail to see how this 'patent' could be valid.
As far the 'technical' article goes, it's clear that the author doesn't have much idea of how a gearbox works, otherwise he would not have made that suggestion of running the gearboxes in tandem.
The only reason that second gearbox is fitted on this monstrosity is to provide front brakes.
'Tonto', not 'Ontos'?

Does the "deemed to be withdrawn" part mean it is no longer valid? |
