I think I sit 100 times better in a good 2CV/Ami seat than in any BX seat.
In my opinion at least.

But anyway, a BX certainly drives faster and better than an Ami. So why not buying a BX if I follow this way of thinking ? Evil or Very Mad

Typical... Cheap+Confortable=Must be best.

I bought my ex-Ami with seat of some real car, with many options etc.
First thing I did, I took them off and get Ami seat there instead.
I think 2cv seats are very nice to sit and part of the spirit. So I dont
see point of changing other seats there.

Its different if you have big engine and lotsa speed, then you have some
reasons to have more sporty seats.

Ofcourse you could make your car a bit more safe with BX seats by leaving
head rests on...

I agree that those bx seats are not very kustom like. But, they are much better to sit than those end of life original seats what I had. And the blanket handles the look Wink

I might change those again, when I found some more kustom like seats. Or I might need bx seats for an other car...

Some old fashion sport seats could be on the top of my list...

Those original Ami/2cv seats are so easy to repair.

If chassis (or what it is in English) is ok. But in my case the chassis of the driver's seat is broken so many places... Neutral I am too lazy to fix it.

Maybe some day...

So, you had already comfort kustom by previous owner Wink

Ps. Regards from behind the ash cloud! I was stucked to Paris last weekend. Then we rented a car and drove to Stockholm where took a ferry to Helsinki. Very funny trip especially when we picked up Finnish poet from the rental car queue and Japanese air hostess from Hamburg.

A while I thought to buy 2cv from Paris, but we didn't have time enough to spend for that. And now it seems that I can get expenses back form insurance company. Which couldn't be the case with bought 2cv.

Hi!

I have spend some time in my garage. I changed the engine, transmission, breaks/lines, wiring and some part of interior in one month just before event in Sulkava/Finland. Now there are 602 + disk break transmission on use.

Bonet will be changed to older version, when I have time... And rear window will be added when I will find a small one.
