I can't decide whether to fit the rear bumper to my car or not.

I have a 'small' style late bumper, the same style as the last bumper but not as high and I've just welded all of the holes smooth and painted it gris rose but I can't help thinking it makes the rear of the car look messy.

Here's the rear of the car currently:

I don't have a pic of it with the bumper as I was painting it yesterday

I'm planning on fitting the old style rear panel and old lights this summer so I'll probably fit the old style rear bumper at the same time but in the meantime what do you think? Leave it clean without the bumper or fit one?

I agree the bumper is an issue, I was mulling over a leaf spring style bumper with rolled ends.

I had the same "problem" - in the end I fitted an old style bumper and now I don't know why I didn't do that immediately, looks som much better I think (Check the Dolly Parton thread)

please! no leafspring bumpers Sad

i think no rear bumper looks cool, but then you need to be consistent and remove the front one to (and extend the bonnet :) )

I agree that the old style bumper look way better. Do they mount in the same way to the chassis?

I have no front bumper at the minute but I'm hoping to get an old style one in Holland next month :)
