Barnfind... :-)

This one was sleeping for almost 20 years on my shed's attick... Now I decided to loose about 25 kg I might as well use it. I dusted it of and put some new tyres on it. Now it's ready for the road again...I am curious how long it will take until it ends up the attick again...We'll see...

Back then it was a pretty state of the art bicycle. Now it is kinda
oldskool :-) It's a handmade aluminum Cannondale trialbicycle with a lot of custommade parts.

Bikes are superior to cars that way (to) - you still see bikes in the streets everyday that are 50-70 years old, and get happy about it - I wish it was the same way with cars. 11 or 20 years is no age for a bike.

Here is a bike I built in 2004 - I had found a "dead" Swedish army bike in a ditch. Brought it home. Stripped off fenders and such. Widened the fork and the rear frame to accomodate the widest down hill tyres I could find There is a three speed hub in the rear wheel. The seat was a NOS army seat as well as the handles and the toolbag. Army green of course. That bike would just swallow any any curb or pot hole - it was just all ARMY. Sorry about the the poor picture quality.

Love it Marcus! Brings back sweet tolka memories!
(Tolka = a bunch of soldiers on bikes holding on for life to a rope, pulled behind a truck...)

Tractors, now we're talking.
Mind you, when I was a youngster, we weren't allowed to be towed behind the tractor on our bikes.

One of these did the same job of ensuring regular applications of sticking plaster, or even visits to the local hospital... Laughing
