Text has no interest, it just says in 1978, CitroŽn tried to fit honda 500 engine in a 2cv. And this car could go to 160/170 km/h...

Same thing everyone thinks: Honda can build great high revving, powerful and durable engines, Citroen cannot.

but there is also point that whit citroens 602 you can drive 300 000km
whitout opening it, whit that kind a 500cc honda 100 000km.

With engine design, there is always a compromise between maximium power and reliability. You can't have both, unless you do like the americans and take an ancient engine design and just add displacement.

But what Honda did (and does) with their engines is unparalelled by any car or bike manufacturer.

In Citroen engines, the 2CV unit is probably one of the best. But generally, citroens are underpowered and engine design is not very advanced. A flat aircooled twin was used many times before citroen used it and underlying camshaft was not very high tech, even in the 30s.
