No they don't. The Michelin 135s were a much better tyre, they were a million years old and were still like shit to a blanket. The Yoko's are shocking in the wet, and have gone off to the point they are more like 125 Firestones now. In my opinion the amount of caster on the front of a 2cv (even with the turned arms I have) counteracts the benefits of a low profile tyre. If I built another car from scratch, regardless how low it was then I'd be wanting 135 Michelins all round again. Better ride, espescially with hard springs, longer lasting and more consistent grip all round. Low profile tyres on a 2cv, even a lowered one are for looks alone in my experience.

Look at the racers at Spa, we went out there with a standard UK spec car on standard 145 Firestones and drove round the hybrid stuff on low profile wide tyres.
