There are many cool paintjobs seen on (custom) cars nowadays. Matt and silk paint even in other colors than the usual black or military green. Fake patina and fake rust. And of course metallics, pearls and flakes. The whole car painted in chrome-look would be my choise if I had the money.
How about some brain storming with "other" ways of car paint, don't worry if it is too strange or mixing different styles too much. Just what is possible.
Would a matt clearcoat look any good on some bright color? Or a clearcoat that ends up a strong "orange skin" surface on top of a smooth normal paint? Is there any paint that makes car look like bare steel or aluminium? (Other than being a Good sheet metal man and not paining it at all). |

red oxide is a great "rat look" paint job to have, either that or just plain surface rust _________________
