I'm going to Amsterdam in the beginning of February, and due to high transport cost and VAT-issues when parts are shipped to Norway by post I would try to buy some Ami parts if there's a shop not far away from Amsterdam(max 2 hour drive). I know about burtoncar.com and they have some shock absorbers to Ami Super (Super and Acadiane uses the same shock absorbers, right?), but are there any other shops?

What I also wants to buy is cambelts for a Super including support bearings, and headlights for both Super and 6(square ones). New or some good used ones, because mine won't pass MOT. Btw, Burtoncar doesn't have this.

If there's a shop around there, I'll probably buy more stuff too, but this is what I need in the first place before I can drive my Super.

Sincerly, Per

2-hour drive from Amsterdam covers almost the whole land Very Happy

Here you'll find a lot of A-type garage adresses and numbers in The Nederlands.

You could also try here: http://www.amivereniging.nl/ They have a warehouse and are about an hour driving from Amsterdam.

Hi Pigland, as already indicated I think the AMI club is you best bet. Probably best get in thouch with them before hand to get the main things sorted for your visit.

Good luck and have a good time in Amsterdam, Bart

Wow, thanks, you've got PM Very Happy

Edit: if you snailers wonder how my trip went, I am now a happy owner of new headlights for Ami 6 and Super, shock absorbers and some other stuff Very Happy I carefully packed my two suitcases and hoped for the best for the flight back home. And everything survived nicely. Thanx for the help, and I'm now a member of Amivereniging NL Very Happy
