It's funny to see how citroën was specialist to make prototypes of its future models whith used body shells. When I was young, I leaved near Paris in the Chevreuse valley. It was one of Citroën's favourite testing spot for its future models and I saw many times prototypes of the BX housed in a GS body and protypes of the XM with CX body. Nowadays, this kind of prototypes seems to not exist anymore. This guy was making a contest on Solidworks, maybe he's not a good enough mecanical engineer to create his own chassis and mecanics. He thought about his old 2cv laying around in his backyard: "hey! I've got all dimentions in my greasy workshop manual, enough saved for mecanical conception!" I saw a few of those "bucks" parked in Velisy PSA design center. Shortened peugeot 106 hiding what seems Citroen C2 underwears, older 605 that could not close their hood alone... Computers can simulate, and lower the number of (expensive)bucks while trying more solutions. But human being still have to test, if only for homologation. _________________ 0 to 70 in the same day!
