I was googlezing for Burton web site, and Icame across this, not quite traditional/old style custom but... The article say that a Dutch designer named Rob Wolkers created that for SolidWorks Product Design Contest 2007. He based it on a, guess what, 2cv chassis and named it Burton Elementz (would they be working on this Brute?).
