Im glad you find it so interesting that you even put it as avatar.
The car is some kind of modernized barbot idea. _________________ Snail Forum... distilling good taste.

The owner is also sometimes on SNAIL. That's Avrell, he made this 2 CV pick up roadster black mat, with rust etc.
This Ami is really great, looks like Californian rust ! _________________ www.super2cv.com |

I found this funky racer from net.
"Sill-less" design looks interesting. So I did super fast pshop work to
convert this thing to street car with channeled fenders:

It has a funny body. The ventflap is sectioned out and everything behind the front screen is channeled, where the sills and rear light pannel just dissapeared. _________________ I like to play |

The idea is very good but the windows looks too big, not in a good proportion, specially the third window the rest is very interesting. _________________ Snail Forum... distilling good taste.

I think the interesting point of removing sills is those "big windows". You would ruin the spirit with choptop.

My thoughts exactly. Makes the car look really interesting and I think the proportions are quite nice. Kind of reminds me of a B11 model in a way. |

Not sure if I am in the right post, Modos do your job!
I was googlezing for Burton web site, and Icame across this, not quite traditional/old style custom but...
The article say that a Dutch designer named Rob Wolkers created that for SolidWorks Product Design Contest 2007. He based it on a, guess what, 2cv chassis and named it Burton Elementz (would they be working on this Brute?). And since I am a big fan of the Ariel Atom...
