The weather was just fine, 15-25 degrees, no rain, very dry air.
We made a trip from Vancouver Island (west coast), driving over Trans Canadian Higway over Rocky MOuntains to Calgary. In the mountains it was a little colder, around 5 degrees and a lot of wind.

I went sailing and swam in the sea around Vancouver Island, water was 20 degrees in an isolated spot in "Desolation Sound". It was the best part of our trip. If you go to Canada, the coastal areas are the place to go, I think.

This reminded me, I remember than Renault had this kind of a "reversed" car in the 60's, I saw it in a "Classic Car" magazine or something when I was a kid and never found anything about that again. Anybody?
