This is my actual proyect, it is sometimes used daily, but mainly used to make weekend trips.
This is Groucho, a jaune mimosa (not sure) yellow 2cv special, when I buyed it, it has bad dents and a heavy coat of filler, and not matching color ratle can paint in some parts like bonnnet and fenders.
It was in this "original" shape for 3 years, and finally i started to customize it, I hope it some day looks like the illustration in my avatar.
I do some rought sheet metal job in the fenders, even welding some cracks and DIY paint it satin black, and the same to the bonnet.
The floors need a repair.
The last work was to paint the rims in blue and scotch brite polish the hub cups, but i believe that 2cv hubcups doesnt look like i want.
This is a slow work, and its being difficult to match this bright hippie color to a vintage look.
Sugestions are welcome.
The things I want to do are:
Install a old grill, round headlights, smaller front plate, redo the front bumper, paint the bottom part of the doors in yellow (it was painted by previous owner in shiny black with a brush, as vent flap and bumpers), modify the front arms and get it more low, paint dark orange scallops-or-flames in the bonnet with blue (as rims) perimetral pinstripe, mount external front door hinges, mount round rear lights... And in the interior, mount a round speedometer, and tuck and roll door panels.
The original when i buyed it:

hi guanjavaro!
it is nice to see that you have been personalizing your 2cv, although i also like the original yellow. but i understand that it is hard to match with rattle-can spray.
nice job on the hubcaps, looks kinda cool. maybe you want to try beetle moon-hubcaps?
