lol, here in Spain a similar vehicle was also build, the "gato montés" the name for a endemic wild cat.
Look also the prototype for a moon-rover like vehicle the "gato araña" spider-cat
There was also a water proof version, the anphicat, this without 2cv engine:

I guess in America, USA.
Did you see the steering(wheel)?
Joysticks?
I think when your digital born, and a player, you can drive it! _________________ http://muskies-aircooled.skynetblogs.be/ |

The stearing leavers are actuallt quite intuitive ones you get a hang of it, just the same system as some of the tanks I drove in the army...
A Swedish "PBV 3029" the lightest one we had, the gocart of tanks, no problem powersliding across the snowy fields of nothern Sweden.
We also drove the heavier stuff... driving a 35 ton Tank full speed through the mud tracks in a dense forrest is for sure the coolest off road driving ever! _________________ >>Mikael |

This was my ride in the Dutch army in 1977.
A Daf YP.
Just the 4 front wheels steered by a steeringwheel.
It was armored, but not a tank. It drove like a Daf lorry.
Sweet memory's!

Cool 8-wheeler!
Talking about Daf and tanks; on the army exhibition day all tanks where in convoy showing off to a big public audience when the last one drove right across the company chiefs little red Daf 66, the result was a very low Daf 66, about 25cm in total... (staged of course but still fun! have to scan those old photos...) _________________ >>Mikael |
