Hi !
I might be a little bit stupid with my question, but I was not born Snailer nor Hoodrider.
So my question is quite simple : what is the exact defintion of a Hoodride ??? |

Let me try to answer, even if i'm not specialist also...
An hoodride is a car looking stock, old, as rusty as possible, unrestored, as low as possible. But it can be (and I think it's better) quiet modified : prepared engine, channelled...
Accessories like rack bars, additional head light (try to be period perfect then), and so are welcome.
Well there are two faces in an hoodride, like an iceberg. The visible side, the car looking an the dark side of the force, under the bonnet...
It is quiet like if you find an original Ford 27 sleeper built in the early '50 and discovered after 47 years forgotten in the bottom of a barn ... _________________ I'm a Rod Breaker

So the Hoodride website is dead now. There hasn't been a new post for months. But it lives on... _________________ Belgian built '67 Dyane. |
