Sorry Jozef didnt mean to offend you by chatting to people about Citroens and asking their views. Thought that was the idea of a FORUM?????
Anyway as requested, i have opened a NEW TOPIC in General Chat Laughing Wink

I fancy building a RAID type van with raised suspension some chassis mods at the front and the back and fit a winch between the chassis rails at the rear.
Does anyone have any photos of any vans that have been built in a similar style???
Any ideas regards strengthening suspension etc would be appreciated.
Cheers Guys and Sorry again Jozef Confused .

Just for style example. I must have some pix somewhere of an AK400 that was raised by using thick wooden bars between body and chassis, at least at the rear-end. I can't seem to locate them (they are analog), and i am sure i made pix of the underside of the car too. i am not sure that wood would be the way to go, and also, it was pretty high, and i can't imagine that being nice to drive in "faster" corners really???

Thanks Spookeend, thats the sort of thing im thinking of.
Dont really want to go for two engines tho, gonna stick with just the front engine and 2wd but its given me a few ideas.
Ive thought about moving the rear axle further back to improve the departure angle and then cut off the rear body panels and swap them left to right so that the wheelarch lines up with the wheel.
I like the idea of raising the height of the body but like you say, 'wood might not be the right thing to use' Shocked
Cheers Mate Cool .
