Hi everybody!

I am looking for some help. I am rebuilding a Dyane D6 from 1968 and it would be at big help, if another D6 owner could show some pictures of the exhaust system. As far as I can see, it runs in the right side of the car. The engine code is AM C and it is 602 ccm.

Here is some pictures of my car from a Danish Citroën forum, called Citronik

The people on the french Dyane forum would love to help you. I already saw your car there. But the exhaust starts on the left (manifold), switches under the gearbox to the right, goes under the rightside of the car along the floor and switches back before the gastank where it finishes somewhere in the middle of the car pointing to the left.

Yes they has been very help full at the French Dyane forum:)
But my French sucks and a lot is lost in translation via Google translator.
Their for I hoped to find some help here as well, since I own the only D6 in Denmark.
I have found out, that a lot happened in year 1970, on the engine side at least. As you can see on the last pictures in my tread in the Danish Citroen forum, I have found the original centrifuge clutch, gearbox and heating boxes. I now have to find out, how the heating system works as well.
The Comfort has a cable driven leaver inside the car, just as on the new 2CV´s and Dyane´s, but the Luxe has two rods the operate the heating boxes.

Although their English isn't great, don't be afraid to ask them in English anyway. Wink The heating and exhaust system on my brother's '67 425cc Dyane (confort commerciale) must be the same as your D6 I think. The biggest changes came later in '68/'69 with the new engines. Send him an e-mail for more questions and pictures through his website: http://home.scarlet.be/clukkers/clukkers/ He'll be happy to help you!

And now I think it's best to be quiet, before they kick you off this 'custom' forum! Wink Good luck!

It's not such a big problem, I've seen much worse in this section of the forum! Very Happy Don't be afraid to ask more questions, we also have a technical and general section on this forum. Good luck again, your D6 deserves to be restored properly.

Hello Shans

The post is quite old, but have you received any pictures? I am also restoring a 1968 D6, so I have a brand new system "laying on the garage floor" about to be mounted on my car. So I can take pictures for you if you still need it.

Yours Tomas Rapp, Sweden
