Its not really good idea to put that on 2cv. Its not really
powerfull and not reliable. 2cv engine is much better.

Only the old 750's are flatheads . The more modern 650's are ohv like the 2cv.

i've heard a lot negative things about the 650 dnepr and ural engines.
a lot of people told me that they are really unreliable, piston rods break really often because they never had balanced anything and so on.

but i've never heard about that 750 flathat ones..

max rpm: perhaps this link helps:

I work as a motor-rebuilder and the russian bikeparts i've seen are pure shit but, by the moment, a little better then the chinese-garbage.

There is atleast 2 urals whit 2cv engines in Finland.
Another has widenenned frame (ugly) and another has rised up
engine and gearbox (super ugly). Best solution would be to use engine
block as part of frame. I mean to cut frame off from where engine block
comes. On front, frame can be mount on 2cv's motor mounts and
in rear you can make steel plate between gearbox and engine and
bolt this on frame.

What we did is lower front tubes so the engine will lay lower. Behind engine raise the tubes up. But we converted frame to hardtail.
