I'm 177 as you probably judged last summer, the driving position is really laid back. Pierre Yves from the Cheaters KK of Geneva must measure 190 and he managed to drive it this weekend.
I think is van could be killer... I'm curious to know it's history (who built it and when)

So you should see it Pablo, make more pics, and seat in it.
Then you could decide something right. Where is located this car? _________________ www.super2cv.com |

Thanks for your interest.
I really would like to get more pictures of it. I don't think the rear fenders are so ugly, but with complementary pics (other angles), my point of vue may change...
Anyway, I won't be able to cut and weld, so the car would probably only be lowered (by a third party cause I don't know shit !)
Yesterday I had the wife's seller who did know a few things about the car :
- The milage isn't excessive (if true) : about 75000 km
- The construction had been done by her husband who's a professionnal (coach-builder teacher)
- It was never used for long trips
- the price (2500€) is debatable
So I gave her my phone number and I'm waiting for a call back from the real owner...
About the location, I live in Lyon and the car is in Vendée...
Could not be farer and harder to get in by train... _________________ no 2cv... just curious... |

hehe that's why I'm not driving my Hot Rod to any Swiss meeting
It's not far from me but I don't have time to check it out for you.
Lowering is VERY easy.
The 2cv is the easiest car to lower, I think...
But check out the front axle mod that I detailed in the tech section. you must know someone who can weld, that would be a must have mod if you're planning on lowering the car. _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

The 2CV is really easy to understand how it works! Don't worry about that. And there is 2cv club where you might find some help in case of problem. I can get you in touch with some "2cv friends" of Lyon at least if you want. _________________ www.super2cv.com |

Some news about the pick up : ...none...
Impossible to get anymore infos about it, no phone or email answer... the owner probably died in his car !
I'm still looking for a "different looking" 2CV, but I needed an old rat trap while waiting for the good citroën so I bought a 78 B Manta...
A quite cool car, slow but reliable and with a cool golden bronze paint.
Soon to be for sale or trade... for a 2CV of course ! _________________ no 2cv... just curious... |

The only problem is :
No 2cv owner will swap their car for anything other than another 2cv...
