Hahahahaha!

That second one is best I have seen for a while!

Check this out The Antarctic Snow Cruiser
Notice that it has adjusteble hydraulic suspension on each wheel. So all the
wheels can be rised up and it could slide downhills like a penguin! Very Happy

Why did they fit slick tyres if the Snow Cruiser was driving in snow/ice?

Those tyres were custom made for just that car. I think it was maybe too
much to ask in late 30's to have grip on them too? But what I read, problem
was not grip, problem was too narrow tyres+weight.

I saw a picture of it years ago. I may still have it in one of my scrapbooks of cool cars. I read that it lies beneath the ice, somewhere?

Oh yeah, the Snow Cruiser. When they notice that it would not work there -
in snow and cold they leave it there and never bring back. They made
"garage" out of wood arounf it. They find it again late 50's and early 60's
but after that not anymore. They think that it could drop on ice or during
cold war that Russians would steal it.

It look fun but a rollcage would be nice. I have quite a nice head and would like to keep it when I roll that thing. Not a question of "if", only question is "when".
