Renault 4 is 13 inch...

I didn't think about that! That is much smaller than what I want. Ideally, I'd like the early 400 mm 2cv rims. But 380 is OK.

I'm still planning and making a list of parts to hunt, so I still have time to solve this strange problem that I have set for myself.

In the end I'll probably have to redrill some suitable discs. And if I redrill I really don't have to use 3-lug discs.
But I find sport in finding those clever little bits that just work, with a minimum of machining, so I will continue this "quest".

Oh, and: Nobody has answered what the size of the 2cv pattern is. I am unable to find it on the net and I don't have any rim to measure here by the computer.

/J

Edit: The 404 has front discs, so maybe I can find a way to use those discs on some suitable spindles? I'm still brainstorming, as you can see...

I have a note that i once measured a 2cv wheelas having bolt pattern 160,5 mm.
But it might be that is is supposed to be 160mm

GS and Ami have inboard discs, and they are fwd, and 404 is too, so I dont know if you can use anything from there.
As far as other 13" 3-holed wheels, Visa, 104, and Samba fit, R4 and early R5 fit (turbo wheels are fantastic), and AX and 106 fit, but they don't mix! They all look kinda the same but you can't use Visa wheels on a R4 or AX.
Can we have some more details about the project, what gearbox are you using, is it front or rear mounted...

The Peugeot 404 is rear wheel drive and at least some of them had front discs.

Here is a pic of the front MacPherson assembly with discs:

And with drums:

Haha! It was too close, so I didn't see it. :-)

And now I have learned new words, like "PCD" and "Pitch Circle Diameter".

Thanks!

Edit: Now, all I want is a complete list of every car ever built with the 3x160 bolt pattern. :-)

The Oltcit and Axel are identical to the VISA.
