Now here's a sweet chassis to base a 2cv project on!
(for sale in Jersey...)
I wonder if it could be possible to find the blueprints of this steel tube space frame?
A juiced up GSA driveline should do the job just as well as that sweet Panhard Tiger piece.
Just drop this sweet body nice and low on top and we're good to go...
(Shouldn't be too low in the back though, I think it should keep a hint of the aggressive, forward pushing stands from both the MEP and the original 2cv!)
Now that's a low ride... _________________ >>Mikael |

wouldn't it be way more cool, just to be able (and allowed) to drive a "MEP" on the road??
Imagine, laughin' at all those kitcars the make on the base of a 2cv, when you pass m...........
Hell, i would even put on a little crazy helmet and a pair of glasses to make that happen, really

the MEP is fast becourse it is super light. Put a 2cv body on it and it will be as slow as a ... 2cv again. The suspention will be rubbish becourse it is designed for the superlight PEP body. I don't think it is a good idea. Buy the thing and drive it on cirquits :-) _________________ look for "sundive live" on youtube and be startled by my weird musical mind |

True.
I'm sure it would be snappier than a standard 2cv or even with a AmiSuper platform on the road, if the suspension is adapted to the weight of course... but in my eyes it would not be a 2cv any more, and the MEP is pretty much perfect the way it is. _________________ >>Mikael |
