Hello
I have a Citroën Dyane of 1983, but I'm looking for something a bit more special.
I want to find a bit more information about the 2CV Falcon.
The Falcon is a Lotus Seven based design on a 2CV, Dyane or Ami floorpan.
Who ownes such a car or can provide more information.
At this stage I'm thinking about buying or building one myself.
I live in Belgium and don't even know if that last idea is possible.
Looking for Falcon reactions.
Thanks.
Piet

Hi!
If you want a Lotus Seven, buy a Lotus Seven or a Catheram!
It will be a lot faster, a lot more beautiful, a lot funnier to drive! _________________ www.super2cv.com |

and Real!
Or if you really wanna make it by your self, there is many many replica kits
which are whit real 4 inline engines. Why to make sports car out of slowes car?

Punky, our new friend seems to be living in Belgium and is named Piet, I guess dutch won't be the problem ...
I think the real stuff is far more interesting. A-types are great, but are pretty silly when 21st century people try to make it look like a fast and classy english sports car. (hooray for British racing green and chromed spokey wheels! )

Falcons are really ugly, in my opinion. Most 2Cv kitcars don't know what to do with the engine being so far in front. They end up looking like a half baked copy of the original with 50cms extra nose glued to the front.
There are literally dozens of companies in the UK offering Lotus 7 kits on the basis of Ford Sierra parts, for instance. You could build one for about 10-15.000 euros, depending on how much you can do/make yourself. You can have a faster, better looking car for the same money and effort as you would build a 2CV kitcar.
In belgium, you would have to register it in the UK and import it back into Belgium. Then you don't even need a donor chassis. _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.
