Friends deuchists,

24:2 Cv of Francorchamps will not take place the first week end of October.

The shortly after the edition 2006, the santa fé motor club announced that he would not be any more organizer of the famous of the Ardennes test. Since, a team of which we cannot that to greet devotion a championship set up which proceeds on several tracks but well on, their wishes expensive was to organize the double turn of clock spadois.
The dated November 10 ones are reserved, but the exemption making it possible to roll during the night is not granted; of this fact there would be two races (saturdays and Sunday) for a 17 hours total with - can be, which knows, an exemption which would end up falling, consequently allowing the normal course of a 24 hours race.

Dated August 30 and in the most total uncertainty, after grinds reflections and reflections, the Life with Deuche a.s.b.l thus takes, with a certain sadness it should be recognized, the decision not to imply its members nor the many usual participants in the organization of a meeting which would be only the shade of what it was. (No insurance as for the course of a 24 hours race, the turn of the circuit put at 09 hours saturdays,…). There will thus not be, as in the past, of MEETING organized by the Life with Deuche a.s.b.l. No reception or presence of the club on the circuit spadois on these dates

Here is, a page is turned and we benefit from the occasion to address, once again, large a thank you with all the friends who trusted us during ten seven years by joining us on the roof of Belgium to celebrate the deuche in the fogs and bragged them of end of season.

Dear 2cv Friends

the 2cv 24H race at Francorchamps won't take place on the first weekend of october.

The day after the 2006 edition, the Santa Fe motor club announced that it would no longer be the organiser of this famous race. Since then, a team whose devotion we could only acclaim has put together a championship that takes place on several tracks, but, of course, their greatest wish was to organise the race around the clock on the Spa track.

The 10 and 11 november were booked, but the permission to race at night having been refused, there would be 2 races (saturday and sunday), totalling 17 hours, with, maybe the last minute authorisation to do a regular 24 hour race.

By August 30th, after much thinking, La vie A deuche decided not to involve its members and the many usual participants in the organisation of a meeting that would only be the shadow of what it was. (no garantee as to a real 24h race, the track lap squeezed in on saturday 9AM)

Therefore there will not be, like in the past, a meeting organised by La Vie a Deuche. There will be no members of the club on the track that weekend.
