Agree with you Tony, they are 'interesting' photos but not nice to see. The abandoned shop in Denmark is amazing, it makes me wonder how many other 'brand new' old cars will turn up in the future?

Sorry Guys but as nice as those photos are, it really fcuks me off when people hold onto things and let them rot away. If half the cars you see in these type of photos were sold and restored it would make the 2cv scene a much stronger scene.
Shocked Crying or Very sad

Not really true. Allready there are many 2cv's restored, and even transformed into the various kitcars there are now. There is no way all these cars will be restored. Most will only be used as parts donor, and otherwise go to the scrapyard. Then, it's better to leave them where they are, as they don't go anywhere, when on the scrapyard, they will be recycled into audi orso.

I have to admit, there are some nice cars standing, and there are some i would like, but would i like to pay for it, what some may ask? NO WAY.

I agree. There is no excuse for letting anything rot away while other people are desperately looking for it.

When these cars have been let down, no one were looking for them...

Many french guys complain because a lot of DS/GS/2CV went away in Nederland. It's just dutch people start earlier to have interest for these cars, and there were right. They saved a lot of car of destruction actually.

2 weeks ago a neighbor made this pic:

These are 3 2cv, my girlfriend already talked me about, cause she was able to see these car from the train. It's around 20km from my home.
So yesterday I finally took my bicycle and ride to there. Found the spot and... no 2cv anymore! There were on the back of a "tuning" garage, so I asked to a guy and the 2CV has been sold and gone last week! There were here for years!

The dutch did import a lot of classics from France. And Germany, actually. It has something to do with our climate. With the wet and the salt from the sea, our classics have long rotten away.

That's the reason why, when you see an abandoned car standing outside here, you don't have to go and look because it will be totally rotten.

Also, because of the high prices for land here, sheds or old farms (with or without cars in them) are usually demolished quite quickly after they have gone out of use.

There is no chance to buy a piece of land and find a shed, hidden in some bushes, that hasn't been opened for 30 years.
