Hi, because 2cv engine makes 1 spark per crank revolution, it is said that a mono-cilinder two-stroke motorbike rev counter is directly usable in a 2cv engine. |

Tony,
don't forget that the red line for that 125 buzzbox might be somewhat high for a 602 motor...
11,500 rpm, anyone?

What i was hoping to do is take the glass off and paint in a new red line at about 6k.
I will paint the rest black and freehand the snail logo over it.
All i need now is an old pedal bike front light to mount it in. _________________ If it works ok, "LEAVE IT THE FUCK ALONE". |

Trauma time. Just fitted the rev counter from the cagiva. All works ok and reads about right BUT As the engine gets up to running temperature the revs read higher and higher.
This means that with a hot engine the idle shows 2500rpm but when cold it shows 850rpm.
Has anyone got any ideas how to fix this problem, perhaps a resister or something??? _________________ If it works ok, "LEAVE IT THE FUCK ALONE". |
