I'll try to visit on friday or saturday. Too bad not with Diva, she is recovering from an accident. Probably total loss. I hope to get enough money from the ensurance to bring her back on the street. _________________ look for "sundive live" on youtube and be startled by my weird musical mind |

There is something good on it but, it is just like build in 1989.

true
but it's a "good taste" '89 build, if you get my meaning.
I like it in that respect.

Well, it is very clean! The body (all steel) is fitted on an Ami Super chassis, widenened NOS wings, wheels used to be Delta Mics but he cut them up to fit his own centers, etc.
Some of you might remember his previous Dyane.

it's actually pretty close to that age really. He started building (ideas and so) when he was 23, and now the builder/owner is 40 years old, and this was his first meeting (wel, he came to citro-mobile to), so it took him 17 years to complete the car. I have detailed shots of the car aswell, and the ammount of deatiling is really awsome. The rest is a matter of taste though, but i in person love it.
Notice, he did everything himself, and put really a lot of thought in some nice details. And, not to forget, there is not a piece of plastic on the car, it's all pure metal work. _________________ If it ain't fast, make it LOUD!!! |

Saying this car sucks is a bit radical Etienne. I personally thinks it's quite cool that people still build customs like they did in the eighties. After all, it's a seventies/eighties Dyane. Why make such a Dyane look like it was customised in the fifties or early sixties? I see no point in doing that. This is craftmanship, a clean car built in a very tasteful way in it's style (you can't take away that people still like this style, it's also something nostalgic for a lot of people!) that gets all my respect. I wouldn't build this myself but at least this is a proper car.

At least my point of critizising was not that I would like to see this Dyane
in 50-60's look. No. But in this style (pro steet custom or what ever) time
has been changed. It could be fine on its style with some updates. I didnt
never like this 80's-90's "paint everything on body color" style (especially
when its painted with pastel colors). Today its sure quite off.
Style could be more like this to be "todays":
