Heeeeeeeeeey !!!
We haven't had a Radical project here for some time... thanks !!!!
you have to wait 5 days and post 5 messages before you can put pictures up...
Sounds cool, though... I was talking about a mid or rear engined 1.5ti no later than yesterday with Olli and Etienne

Ow, I had that idea for 3 years now, first i started the project with the same engine in front, that project ended dead and I desided to sell the hole project, 1,5 year later the same guy called me with the message he didnt did anything with it and he wanted to sell it again.
I bought it again and started thinking with "atrois" and some other CTD members wath to do. I wanted something never ever anybody did before. so....I begin.
last week we fitted the body on an ami super chassis and we created the engine fitting.
oke this is message nr 2. 3 to go and I will send some Pics.

Yeah, I checked the speed-o-grave, verry nice. How fast does it go (without a bonnet) ? do you have a bonnet?
I want to channel it like stefan (also a friend) but only a few CM's, because i have to fit some big tires for all the Hp's (108Hp)
I also searched a while to find a body wich was good enough for driving "dans sans jus", I find it !!!! yes.. so it wil look great when its finished.
I only have one BIG problem, and thats time.. _________________ 2cv 1.5 ti mid-engine |

Here the pics!
I let you write the comments Marc!
That look wild!
What will be the final style?
Something close to the regular azam?
Sounds good! _________________ www.super2cv.com |

C L
SoG, is more like SoB at the moment... I can't figure out the brakes properly... I've been trying for ages...
Speedwise, I can only talk about when it was an AMI Super... I'd say it was a brown trousers experience above 100 MPH...
it was equipped with 135 80 15 when I got it... perfectly OK for putting down the power... if driven without too much dragster style start offs...

No, the the frontbreaks wil be aranged by the original gearbox, the rear breaks are the original from the alfa, the tank will be fitted something like the beatle (in front) handmade 50L. the radiator also into front. and last but not least the spare-weel. I need some weight in front.
leave the original engine is the best idea, but i need the space there.
the hardest part of the hole project is find something for changing gears, because the shiftcontrol is located at the backside of the gearbox and i need to control it in front#$@#$????? _________________ 2cv 1.5 ti mid-engine |

Yeah, thats gonna be shitty.
your best bet is to have a rod going through the chassis, and up through the floor, with, in your case, a pivot that will keep the gear selection in the right way...
but make sure you do something tight, cause the gearstick on my car had to be lengthened, and it's really really sloppy... _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

That looks like a fine project! Old body, lots of power coming from a nice engine, four disc brakes ... nice ingredients. Make it look good and good luck. |
