I was surprised by how much I liked that movie. :)
You could get a 2CV looking quite a lot like a late 2nd generation Camaro by using the right parts. Like older chrome bumpers with fat black rubber etc...Could be a great idea! :) |

Hi Max,
For me it's not good idea...
Big wheels on the back and black stripes look maybe good (I say maybe) on an 80's camaro but on a 2CV van it will look just... stupid.... maybe fun...
With big wheels, the car will be even higher. And the AK400 is already very high roof.
Actually, it will look really 80's style so...
I think for 2cv van, there is not so much possibilities but Olli's example is good. Your car is a van, use it as a van and paint some fake old advertisement on it. For example : "SNAIL 2CV speedshop", or something in french to fit well with the 2CV :
and then lower the van, use maybe other hubcaps (try to adapt something non-citroën), another bumper than this "elefant killer safari one" and you should have something really cool...
So that's my idea... _________________ www.super2cv.com |

if you have a good pic of the front corner of your car, I could make a "photoshop" to test some ideas. _________________ www.super2cv.com |

Lets make clear that Snail is not any kind of club.
It just is ideology of good style customized 2cv's.
We create this Snail thing to raise up very sleeping
2cv custom culture. All Snail things out there are
really good adds to make people regognize what
is going on, its good way to make this ideology known.
Snail is "all together" type of thing so we will not
have any chapters whit "you/us" thinking.
For me is really ok if there is "Snail Speed Shop"
logo's on side of some ones car.. (exept I would
like to make that desing.. its not same what picture
snail gives out there :) )
Keep on Customizing your 2cv's whit good taste!

Maybe in the topic "Tatoo your ride", we should make some "official" logos? _________________ www.super2cv.com |

Haha Etienne, you're way narrow minded when it comes to custom 2CV's.
