Jasu can tell what happens for the ventilator after 8000. Once when we was driving with Olli back from somewhere (little pissed iff, I think), we was looking rev counter of my Dyane when I was changing from 3rd to 4th speed... And after that needle "got back" in scale, to 7500rpm, so I calculated it run in 3rd about 10200rpm... And nicely..! Now with Megasquirt, logfile tells sometimes that rpm has been near 9000... Power and torgue graphics are really straight btw, there is no any "sharp tops". It must be smooth drive!
