Hello Philippe,
you need no (pre) heating of the manifold since you'd not get fuel wet film problems with a carb on each cylinder AND short intake runners.
Take a look to older BMW flat twins. Either you can weld runners (adpter) or maybe you're lucky to find suitable plastic tubes/flanges. I think they're used to minimize heating of the carbs (heat transfer).

Or is your problem touching the 'comfort' heater bulbs?

What do you expect using 2 carbs? Done any camshaft mods or anything else?

The carbs are mikuni,
Iripped then of an old 2cyl Yamaha, and sapareted them, and made new parts for gascable.

The flow seems perfect for 2cv, but iám not sure of it runs (vacuum)

But i like the looks off two carbs and the clean engine upperside Twisted Evil

From a XS650?

anyway cv carbs should run perfect, same as SU carbs, maybe even better then with original carb and more economical too.

Hi Philippe,

Lars had a engine with Mikuni carbs mounted to a 2cv engine....

Unfortunatley no sign of heater boxes, but with pipe and bends anything is possible.

His topic is HERE.

Hey!

I had a UL plane engine at home, this was equipped with 2 bing carburators.
They were fitted with some short curved manifloids. There was no air heating system, that significates that they should not have problems of frozed carburator during the flight.

The more that big diameter of carburator reduce the depression and so the risk of frozen carburator.

The way it was mounted is like on the pics of the engine equipped of Mikuni carbs.
