hi
if you check out my AMI topic you will see that I adapted hydraulic shock absorber fixings onto a Dyane chassis with friction shocks.
it was a very simple job, you shouldn't hesitate to do the same.
how good is your actual chassis ? _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

Hi,
I think its not to bad to be saved.
Its covered with rust but it looks not brocken.
Time, steelbrush little welding and color and i hope its okay.
The floorpanels was made from wood, therefor the chassis was open too...
My 1989 2CV was in worse conditions so I dicided to buy a new frame 5 years ago.
The motor is out but the fight with the gearbox is much harter than with a modern one. Handbrake wire and drive shaft is a little complicated. I will search in our "technic section". _________________ WATCH OUT WHERE THE HUSKIES GO

Hi
unbelievable, after 2 month I a have my gasbottle from the weldingmachine back.
In germany your gasbottle have to have TÜV and the company made some mistakes with the date for my bottle
So i bought some sheets and blinkers and headlamps and other stuff.
Normaly i will start up with weldings, but the rain will stop me. I have only this "outside" garage
And in 8 day i travell to southamerica for 4 weeks. So no weldings and no World Meeting.

thanks björn,
I thought I bought a piece for a 250 ( I ordered one...), but it seems that the holes are higher than at the old piece.
Thanks for the tip.
Did you turn the bars or did you make new holes?

Hello
and what about a Mini Chrome bumper?
You see LEFT a new rear light and RIGHT a original one.
At this picture i make a bigger hole (57mm) in the old sheet to try how it looks with only come out 1mm. I know: So its difficult to change lamps
What do you think?

Sorry all pics are deleted, because there was now traffic. That was because for long long time I have no update. I will try to restore the old pics
But during chrismas holiday i work on my AZU. Because I will go to Finland this summer. It is also my 50th birthday
I think the AZU should be littler higher in the back and lower at the front?
Or the 155 Wheels are to high?
I will only paint the lower half of the AZU:
thanks for the painting tool _________________ WATCH OUT WHERE THE HUSKIES GO
