that's what we will do next time !
in modern time, it's incredible to see that a old car is more sure to go somewhere than internet...
so, you drive all night long ! no problem with other car like that ! and not truck to shake your 2cv !
I hope to see you at Salbris in 2011 and maybe before ! |

Happy to see you're back home Etienne. Thanks for your message about my Ami, and don't worry, I know the guy who took the moon disks. We are supposed tho take up the car tonight whith Gaetan.
For those who don't understand what I'm talking about, here's the story :
I left Brive to drive to Lit et Mix Wenesday afternoon whith my Ami 6 and my neighbour, a 77 years old member of the Boulanger family. I had a break down 150 km later... Hopefully, my wife was following us with the minivan ! So everybody reached his meeting. I think Etienne will post us pics, but there were no real new great modified 2cv or derivates. _________________ I'm a Rod Breaker

Alex's Ami 8 service :
Funny style, great sound !
The star of the meeting was the Stephane's coupé :
Very impressive, but some awful details and mixed styles in my opinion.
Thierry and his brand new centerlines :
They do look great on his vert jade regular 2 CV 6 !
There were always people wondering "why??" close to Fredo's Dyane :
So cool to see it there !
Boulanger (the nephew of Pierre), built a new Barbot replica.
It's channelled, and quite closer than anything else to the original. He has still some details to improve.
Nico's 2 CV :
Good style !
Arnaud's 4 cylinders 2 CV with his new color :
Still runs perfect !
Nice Ami8 :
Friday evening was wild !

So, that thing turn out pretty damn ugly :S I was expecting a lot after the preview photos posted before. I saw a couple of other pictures and the really only good things are the rear ends of the rear fenders and the dash. Pretty good craftmanship at some places though. But damn, that thing is ugly |

Whatta Hell That car is just horrible. Not even one line match on it.
It looks like it has been built in 4m2 garage without lights, or all pieces have
been made in different garages and then just putted together. All that work
to destroy design in every angle. I really dont like any place exept paint and
wheels looking nice, but even front wheels are placed wrong. Sorry.
Alex's orange ami looks nice.
