Maybe it is. But snail will not stand behind it. I'm just wondering why to
make things like in 90's. In that time there was nothing very nice...
Ofcourse every stuff from that period is cheap or free, but thats sad.
I would use 2cv van roof and get rid of the sun roof, or even use 2cv roof.
I would not even think to build with ideas what I did have 4years ago! Shocked

I understand your point of view completely! and I aggree for the biggest part of it, it just is that I've been working on this car for the last 4 years and all the 'uncool' parts have been made 3-4 years ago, and don't want to change it again, In future I probably will change the steeringwheel (make one myself 50's style) My main objective at this moment is to get the car on the road a.s.a.p. and modify things later. if I would change the roof (wich isn't the nicest, I know), it would take to much time. ( and I still like having an open roof over my head)

On this forum I got many great idea's and still getting new ones! otherwise it would look even worse!

I like the six horizontal stripes on the bonnet in the picture when the front bumper is not installed yet.
Great idea!
Don't worry about the roof, enjoy the wind in your hair. Cool
Nice looking pick up.
Hope to see more, keep posting pictures.

I wondered if anyone would notice! I think this weekend I will adept the gril piece and if that works out I will cut up my bonnet eventually it will have 5 bars, and the grill will connect nicely to the bumper! (same angle!)

The pick-up bed looks good, not sure about the 5 bar grill, though.

old mecano red Wink

(there used to be a 2cv-red that was somewhat darker. Take the shine away, make it look old and it might resemble the red that I mean)
