Well indeed, that looks nice!
Let me add a nice early XK120 to complete the picture. Closed fenders, not green and no spoked wheels.

These 2 Ghia protos are really nice. There is no much about them in internet
so I need to stole these pics from one finnish car mag. Cars are based on:
-Fiat 1100 abarth
-Simca Aronde
Simca is my favourite of these.
In roof line you can see some Karmann Ghia.

I already like standard Simca's (8 Sport), but these are wonderful creations! |

They look really nice. Reminds me of the styling of Virgil Exner in the 50s.
Perhaps not really surprising as Ghia and Exner (Chrysler) worked together for a number of show cars in that time.

Great! But the wheels are not right, they're from a Peugeot. |

My bad! I really need to get back on the 2cv track again!

In my eyes some cars just don't look well when they hit "rat" status...
I most probably have a deranged view on the DS but I think there is something sad about a fallen goddes... made for luxury and glamour turned into a forgotten hasbeen, an aged prima-donna.
A DS looks best shiny...
Now, the ID19 on the other hand...
An early ID19 (preferably a -58 ID19 Normale) with a well preserved used look can be absolutely gorgeous!
My son Sixten burning rubber in his 1960 ID19...
The 2cv of course was intended for hard use from day 1, it ages well like a pair of jeans and in stead looks strange when new or buffed up too much.
