Check out the electrical connection were the tank filler used to be. Here's the motor, attached to a normal 2cv4 gearbox. The batteries were supposedly normal car batteries, linked in series and stored in the back. The dash is pretty standard, except for the huge Ammeter, voltmeter etc. There is a lever to control current to the motor (to regulate power output). This car was photographed in Holland, 6 years ago. The car was sold as it was shown here.
