Faster, Faster thats the fun part, but can a cv's small motor in it's standard 602 get there? Maybe, Supercharger was my first idea, but what about the final drive ratio? anyone know what the road speed would be in 4th gear @ 8500rpm? Any help for big thanks!!!!!!!

? 100mph is a little bit more than 146km/h. 100mph is about 160km/h

road speed in 4th gear at 8500RPM obviously depends on the gear ratio. Nevertheless 100mph is an awfull high speed for a 2cv, even racing 2cv hardly get there, not even talking about reliability...

The way to beat 100mph using a standard 2CV engine would be to cut wind resistance. That's the main thing that's stopping the climb in speed.

At normal max speed 140km/h on the clock (doing 123 on the GPS), it's not max rpm that's stopping my car. I can reach 155 on the clock behind a Merc Sprinter. At that speed, the valves are dancing though...

A gearbox that's a little "longer" (maybe even bigger tires would do) and less wind resistance could do it.

Dyane, very low suspension (70mm front), "little tuned" Visa, GSA gearbox -> 173km/h...

Been there, it was fun..!
