Its Pluriel.

http://www.netcarshow.com/citroen/2009-c3_pluriel_charleston/

Lets just hope that they will never make new 2cv.
Whit new mini or beetle it didnt happen, that those new versions would go
on meetings. But I'm afraid that in 2cv scene people would be so happy that
we would see many of them in meetings...

I was thinking also change of fake, because I cant find anything from Citroën.com

Some one was thinking that this is "The big news" what Citroen were promising for 2cv's 60yrs celebration.. Rolling Eyes

Citroën has released first details of a special edition of its funky convertible supermini, the Citroën C3 Pluriel Charleston. The limited edition model will be unveiled at the 2008 Paris Motor Show and is expected to go on sale in the UK in early 2009.

The Citroën C3 Pluriel Charleston fashions a contemporary reinterpretation of a design theme that once decorated the famous Citroën 2CV 6 Charleston - a stylistic nod to one of the most iconic cars in history, which this year celebrates its 60th birthday.

With a blend of nostalgic and contemporary styling the Citroën C3 Pluriel Charleston should strike a chord with both 2CV fans and buyers looking for a vehicle with individual design flair. With its bold two-tone colour scheme of black and Bordeaux red, the sophisticated Citroën C3 Pluriel Charleston special edition will be positioned at the high-end of the Citroen C3 Pluriel range with premium touches throughout such as gloss-black fittings, leather upholstery and chrome trim. Also fitted as standard are stylish 15” aluminium wheels which feature red embellisher centres that add elegance and definition.

Hahaha, funny Olli!
Someone should have the balls to build that and park it outside of the dealer.
Then release a fake news bulletin on the introduction of a retro-van.

i dnt like it - the new charlie, if it really is going to be the new charlie

i just have a problem with anything todo with a new 2cv altogether, its never going to be the same... wont ever have the same design principal or ever be powered by an aircooled flat twin

you just cant make a new 2cv, will never happen new beetle - crap! new mini - crap! new fiat 500... wassat meant to be then?

a new 2cv just wouldnt be right, yes it "might" fit in with these new reinvented cars but it would never be the same Sad

There sure never will be new 2cv like it was back then.
Car cant be cheap. People wont buy cheap car, no one wants
to show that they are so poor that they need to buy cheap car.
Also car must be safety nowadays and that costs too.

For me the new 2cv is already released, but due to commercial isues it was named C3.

Citroen is not interested at all to remember people that was the constructor of cars like 2cv (it is asociated to rural, poor, cheap and crap by people (sad)) or GS (asociated to bad and complicated mechanics, even when it was a super seller at his time) and even DS by the same reason as GS.
Just go to a citroen dealer and ask him for a 2cv o GS part, when they realize that must consult a microfiche, they will put thousand excuses like asking you for the vin number...
