after a little bit of research and seen the price of 2cv van (I need a car registration document 2 place) I turned to an acadiane with a low price with a good mecanique and chassis that I have just found and that I am going to go to search on Monday.....

now I'll have to found a 2cv body with his fenders and hood and front doors and I'll begin the project
waiting this this time I'll became to lowering the acadiane
I have seen a lot of things in the forum but I probably need some helps from you to choose the good parts to lowered it well

I give me till next begin of summer to finish this project

ps sorry for lmy poor english..... Confused

Hi and welcome here!

If you do something as clean as your black car, it should be great.

I agree Björn, before starting anything you should make some sketches. There were enough crappy pick up 2cv...

Maybe do you have some example cars, they inspired you?

Btw, do you know than the acadiane wheelbase is 10cm longer than the 2cv one?

I think its even more than 10cm, it will be really long cabrio-pickup.
Your black car looks really nice on its style, I really hope you get something
cool out of this too. 2cv scene has too much "cheap-fast-cut-chop-weld-weekend-made-customs"
which only 2cv people find them cool...

thanks and no soucy I'll not do more one scrapy pick up
etienne befiore this project I make somme "tunning" car but ever in the style of my black car ( low, body very handrail (lissée)) so don't panik Wink
I'll keep the 2cv lines for the front and front door and i'll keep the rear fenders two and then i'll make the "rear box" in steel integrated the rear fenders
I have already in my mind what I want , there is just the colour who isn't be choose yet
if the acadiane is longer it's better , on the pick up 2cv I have seen the " rear box" is already too short....
yes i'll be certainly channeling I don't know how much yet but I know what result I want
something like that for the lower( just for the lower!!!!)

When I had Acadiane and 2CV chassis in backyard, i measured difference between axle mountings is 22cm...

An Acadiane is actually 25cms longer in the wheelbase. Not at all wrong to make a pickup out of, because in a 2CV, you sit behind the b-pillar anyway. In a regular 2CV chassis, the bed becomes very short.

But if you are starting with Acadiane, why not make that a pickup?
