thanks bart but really I prefer the 2cv body!!!!
if I don't find one perhaps I'll cut the acadiane but it's really not sure!!!!
if I did it it' ll be just for fun

i had a moment this evening after work so i begin to see what is under my acadiane

and a moment later...





the rear begin to look like something quite cool lol !

next step will be to lowered the front and go ride a bit to see how it is!

I lowered the front too and it seems to be quite low with the channeling it 'll be good I think



this weekend I had time so i begin the first step of the project
to put off the acadiane body to keep just the " chassis" with mecanic



after 3 hours of work it's good



and then put it in the garden ( alone it's not really easy !!)



it' ll stay here till I finished the project
(hmmmmm so low !)





then I keep the " chassis" waiting till I find my 2cv body to continue

Before you find a 2cv body, you should dismantle the axles and engine and start cleaning all that. Check all the bearings, now it's the best time to change if some are damaged.

so some news
use karcher to clean all ( it's really very dirty!!!) and go to the garage to dismantle engine and shift box wich I 'll check after





then dismantle fonrt axles



some more cleaning to do !

some news:

put off the rear axle:





put off suspentions



and some paint






then front axle






today I found the deuche wich will be the base for the body work
she is in her "juice" !!!







and the interior is very clean lol !



time to put her out of the garage for the owners and she 'll come to house to begin work

some news the "chassis" is finishe




on friday I get at home my ak on what I'll get the front body
it's not really new!!!! it has been stopped in 1981!







and the interior hum......! lol



so I begin the work on it this week end



little rusted Wink ?



then I cut and put off the front



one front view the see the difference between the 2



then I all put off to can work on it





so I cut the door and put the bonnet and one wing to see quickly what it can 'll see when finishe .....

seats are to hight I'll have to cut them

the next step

puting the motor on



fuel tank of the acadiane











I'm very impatient so I begin to paint the lights to see the result





pretty nice front isn't it ?







the new steering



on the car



the new fuel cap a bit more can than origine



I begin the molding





the new fusible box



set the fuel tank at his place



molding the rear of the "cabine"



some hour later....



at the day I'm here at the project
on saturday I try it on the road all is good no big problem
