To make something GOOD you need to use time and money. Ofcourse cutting something up in weekend is fun and even more fun if you get it running. But I think, so is negativism. I think this guy (with the pickup) didn't aim at much more than doing a fun week-end hack. I say "Good for him", and go on with my own stuff.
