hi there,
I am also new to this forum. Bjorn told me about it after meeting him online and at Waggel. The van is looking ace by the way Bjorn!
I currently own an 86 Dolly, 76 Mehari and most recently an Ami 8 Saloon.
I have big plans for the Ami in the way of race 610cc engine, lowered to the floor and a few little trick. The Ami will hopefully be arriving home in the next few weeks ready for a restoration them pimping! best way!
Picture below is from the show last weekend of my Mehari and some friends.
Cheers

Welcome.
For the AMI: Chop it, drop it, paint it black.
Oh no, it's been done already!

Its still not low enough.
(I did the 2cv today, its finished and ready for paint now, so the only way forwards was to lower it! its on the stops at the front and Its about 2" off them at the back!
Maybe soon I can join Bas Cavaliers.... _________________
