A nice advert with details on the car and the sale/swap would be so much nicer, Tony. Wink I guess you're not swapping it for sandwiches or an encyclopedia.

Sorry Guys but not really thought about the price. Would like an ami saloon or estate or even a van as a swap.
SCAR has 10months MOT, road tax, it has been inspected by the DVLA, which is the English vehicle inspectors and they are more than happy with the conversion that i have done. It has been issued with a fresh Log Book which now shows it registered as a 2CV Pickup(which is nice). All the tyres are nearly new and done very little mileage. It had a clutch, front brake pads and handbrake pads just before Dunkerque. I use it EVERY DAY for work and its 100% reliable and what other 2cv will get peoples attention like this one does.
I have got my reasons for considering a sale/swap but they are personal to me and have nothing to do with the car Neutral .
Pictures-- I haven't taken any recently, but i'm sure thet anyone who went to Dunkerque will have seen it. The only difference to the car since returning home is that i have changed the bonnet and it now has a standard 2cv bonnet fitted(the old one is an option if anyone is interested).
Cheers Guys- Spread the word Cool

He has an estate Ami Super in good condition, maybe you would be interrested for it?
Any Ami project Tony? Channelling, or something?

Thanks Etienne, i have received an email from Pascal Very Happy .
To be honest i really like the look of the ami as it is, but of course it would have to be a lot lower.
I have just spoken today to a guy who is making me a set of wheel adapters from high grade billet alloy. I have asked for the same stud pattern as the early VW Beetles or Vans/Campers etc(wide five pattern). The plan is to fit a really cool set of retro VW wheels on the ami, slightly lower it with a few minor body mods and then drive it to the CZECH REPUBLIC for the World Meeting 2009 with all the family on board.
He is making the adapters for me for FREE Very Happy .Yes you did read that right, FREE. If he makes a nice job of them and other people are interested i will get a price from him to manufacture some sets for Snail Members.
Its early days yet but if it go's ahead, it should be quite a cool ride Cool
Thanks for your help.
