it was fitted with 135 Firestone F-560... the fronts were... very close to threadbare... Evil or Very Mad but I can understand that Laughing

I'm not sure what the original fitting of the Sud was... as far as I know, it varied somewhat depending on I've no idea what (engine size/ TI version etc)

I seem to recall it was 165-70-13 I think...

Hey

know, i didn't redesign it, I must confess... i just rebuilt the supports and bolted it on the other side Embarassed

I intended it to be a quick rebuild, to drive to the french national, but i got carried away....

So it's not finished yet, and there is still no Anti roll bar Wink Wink Wink

see i would replace the front springs not bother with the front bar,
see we released the rear bar to try to lossen the back end in cornering

Yeah, Pete said about that.

I've taken the rear bar off completely.

I was thinking about putting the rear springs on front, thinking they were harder, but apparently not... So I slapped them back on the right way...

Pete said that he had uprated springs made quite cheap...

It could be a good idea...

I'll have to drive over to UK with the beast once it's finished Laughing

uprated springs are cheap, worth doing on that, that would stiffen the front up and help the cornering
