So, it is not custom yet, but I am working on it!
Today I have allmost finished my little project of making retro rusty clock for my 1986 Charleston whith a broken chassis.
Here are some pics of my car and a clock, in future I am planning more custom parts and lowering...
This is the car - in summer mode, whithout the triangles for better cooling - braking problems
So, I have modifyed this shifter to have a skull for a handle, and i have fitted a headlight form an oldschool bicycle to it
In the headlight I have fitted this clock - I presume that it is form an old mercedes
And it fits like a glove - with few modifications - all that is left to do is drilling a hole for power and conecting it
It is small, but it is a start _________________ www.citroenklub.hr |

And it's a pretty cool start too !
A rev counter could have been cool too ! especially next to the "gearchange zone" _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

Initially I was thinking of fitting rev counter or a speedo into a headlamp of some sort - but the idea was a bit different and it is very hard for me to explain it in english
It should have been fitted to a metal hose (like on showers or old lamps - this is a bit that I think you want understand) and should have stick out beside control panel. That was the idea, and still is - for a rev counter. But after I visited a oldtimer fair with dule and bought few headlamps, the idea changed itno this one.
Now I am working on creating rear foglight form bicycle headlight too _________________ www.citroenklub.hr |

There has been several ideas in my head about the paint, but no conclusive one - I would like to be 100% satisfied with the look before I decide to paint it. Rust is unfortenantly out of the question due to climate here - cars tend to rot very quickly - I had in mind matt black car whith red rims or somethin similar, also I would like to make some decent pinstriping around locks, on the headlights... but I havent found anyone here (Croatia) who could do it yet.
Latley I am thinking of leaving it in this color, but accent it whit some primer on places where the car i rotting... Low Charleston could look cool.
It is not final - I mean the Idea _________________ www.citroenklub.hr |

Again, glad you like it And feel free to "steal" the idea - in return I only ask to see the pictures
While my car is waiting for better days in a parking lot, I am working on another bicycle headlight - this time it will be made in a rear foglight, and is going to be mounted under the car on the chassis - as advised by dule
Unfortenatly I painted the housing black - now as I am looking at theese pictures, it seems that it was better this way _________________ www.citroenklub.hr |

Yeah... but I first put some rustproof paint so I wouldn't have same effect - on fotos you can see how good was it - old paind covered whith rust and then sanded to bare metal in some places
No matter, this black is also kind of cool
Good lock whith the counter _________________ www.citroenklub.hr |

I havent really tried the position on the car, but as I am planning of taking off bumpers, it would be hard to put it on
Worth thinking about
@sam - I think it is not Bosch, in the middle of the glas there is one "S" and that is it. _________________ www.citroenklub.hr |
