Alright, first few steps diving under the hood have been made Surprised I am really trying to get acquainted with the car and knowing what's where.

I've already fixed my horn, althouhg it was just a matter of changing a connector on the wire and putting it back on the horn. Well, it's someting!!

Furthermore, i took the first step into making my ride a little LOUDER, by installing an open airfilter to replace the original one. It seals off perfect and sounds great when going full throttle Twisted Evil

Next thing to do is fix the non-working fuelmeter. I've gone through the whole process of tracking down the error, and i now figured out that the circuit up to the connector behind the rear seat is fine. When touching a piece of mass with the wire that leads to the fuelmeter, the dial responds fully. So, now i will have to disengage the fueltank (first drive until it's almost empty), and check the connections on top of it.

Just an update here, i fixed the fuelmeter last week. It was just a loose contact on the tank.

Yesterday we managed to drop this deuche to the ground, finally :) Now i can walk these forums without shame Rolling Eyes

Front was already down here, just dropping the rear in the dark Cool

So this is the new face!

To compare with the original style, which was really at maximum height!

How it is steering now? Have you been planning "the front arms mod"?

Yeah, you must !

My car is this low and it's brilliant, steering is like the car was at regular height.

cheers

Steering is still stock, so it's a little harder compared to regular height. But still very doable from my perspective. In fact, i believe it is less wobbly in the steering, steadier.

I will look into this "Front arms mod", any documentation?

I'm preparing a technic topic. Wink

It took 30 min to do both (a friend of mine did the welds cause I don't trust mine for that sort of thing)
