Chrisp, who bluids the Shitroen, went back in France in the late 2008 or early 2009. He brought back the Shitroen. Then he found a job near Paris, he's restoring olds panhard in particular, and I think he said the Shitroen was in his parents house, in Bourgogne county... so quiet far from Paris. But the project still exists, whith all the projets Chrisp had in France before he left to the U.S ! _________________ I'm a Rod Breaker

so, I am seriously considering a mild roof chop on my DS...
I have a talented panel beater who has the skills, just wanted to see what peoples thoughts are...
This is using th original windscreen tilted back 9degrees dropping the roof at the front 6cm or 2inches... The rear of the roof line is not chopped, just rotated.
I think the the top of the A pillar looks wrong, this may be avoided by shaving the top of the windscreen to bring it down a bit, but i want to try to avoid that...
The DS has always sat to high in the front imo.
thoughts?

I haven't seen a decent chop on a ds so far. Somehow, the lines get screwed up in the process. If I were to do it, I would lower the entire roof the same amount, front and back.
Try buying a larger scale model car (1:1 and chopping that. Is a lot of work but you do get a good idea how the end result will be before you chop up the real thing... _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.

not so sure either and with the front window tilted, you'll get some funny looking top corners at the front near the roof. _________________ I like to play |
