An original DS has a big front already. When it's shorter it really look stupid...
This would be mine:

I would make a glass sunroof, with a spoiler over it. Last year i made a fast concept of what my future DS would look like. The layout looks kinda childish, but I didn't have much time. I had to make it for school. I tried to keep the original lines, but make them more futuristic and more streamlined. (the original DS is very high). Here are two photographs;
Here is the first design sketch in MS paint;

I would still change hubcaps, take off mud flaps and remove junk from rear window

This car isn't a DS. It's just some rearwheeldrived, V8-powered home-made car that looks like a DS. And when you drive around in a car that just looks like a DS, well, then you miss out on all the things that a DS is all about.
And when it comes to a DS, it's fantastic designed body is just a minor aspect with the car. It's the total package that makes the magic happen.
A blind person would rekognise and love tha car just by riding along in one.
Looks isn't everything. But this might be the wrong forum for that kind of statement
Besides my two 2CV's, I also, offcourse, have a DS. This is the one. It's got it all. The looks, the roadhandling, the suspension, the gearbox, the seats, the legacy....it's the DS experience

It could be channeled, although there is much less room under the bonnet and everything is infinitely more complicated. But in principal, it could be done. _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.

It's a nice design, the car looks a little scruffy, though. _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.
