Well..... I have been looking in this tread and I think it is about time for me to introduce myself properly ( sorry guys)
My name is Soren. I am 39 years and I live close to Ringsted in the middle for Zealand, Denmark. I am the President of the Danish Citroen CX club, but in the last year and a harf, I have been throwing my self out in a Dyane D6 project, which is on standby at the moment.
In the mean time, I have started another project, inspired of this forum and especially Etienne´s 2CV Hood Rider. Together with the D6, I bought another Dyane 6 from 1998, which has a ok body, but bad engine and frame. Both cars origin are Swedish.
The Dyane 6, I am starting up now, has a good looking old patina and my plan is very clear: keep it simple on a low budget.... this is not gonna be a showroom car, but at daily driver..
Recently, I have scarped to old Dyane´s from the seventies, and i have now at healthy engine and frame. The problem in DK is, that if you import a car, you have to pay taxes and we don´t like taxes. One of the scarp Dyane´s, has Danish papers and I can now start up the project.
But here is my cars....
This belong to my better harf and serve as a daily driver
XM TCT 1994
This is the family's illegitimate child... my eco-racer Twingo 1,2 16V from 2002. I drive 123km to/from work every day, mostly on hi way
This is our two CX. In front a 1979 CX 2400 Pallas and behind a 1985 CX25 GTI
This is my D6 before restoration... this is gonna be a show-room car, because of it´s rarity
1976 scarp Dyane 6... together with
.. another scarp 1979 Dyane 6
.... and this, is gonna be my daily summer fun Hood Rider, a 1968 Dyane 6
And at last.... a pic off the giraffe.... me fixing the syncromess on the gearbox of the CX2400..

Hey there - im Matt from Munich(Germany). Im not so into the technic from the 2cv but i like the form of it
I own one since i got my license. At the moment i drive a right-hand steered Transat-Clone.
Looks a little rusty but i will customize it in few weeks. Other Tires - Seets - Speedometer - Backlights - oldshool hood - engine from a dyane ....
Pehaps someone got any idea?! I am awaiting it ...
Cheers

Hello,
I am Päde (Patrick). I am a Swiss living since few years in Finland. Last year I bought my first 2CV, it’s a '58. I am reading your very cool page already since last year & have got (stolen) a lot of ideas from here. Sadly I am not the best welder, so I can’t cannel the car like I was planning. Below a picture of the actually status. Still a lot to do…

Hey,
I have two 2cv friends in Hyvinkää. Other is my good friend Olli (yes, same name as mine).
So I visit there sometimes. I live just next to Keimola's Neste (gazoline
station) when you are coming by highway from Hyvinkää to Helsinki.
Yes, I can try to help you with your part needs.
See you!
