You don't get the joke because you drive one.
It's nothing to do with being homophobic. the French always take things literally
Oh
My last question will be :
Whats the point of building the same car as Etienne ? there's one like it, it's cool, make something different for fucks sake...
But at the end of the day Olli's point is very worthy of interest _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

When it's written, it's quickly too much... Once it's funny, more not.

( trabi, 4L, split bus VW, 404...)
Merci etienne, j'ai cru que j'me fesais incendier!
Et on verra a la nationale 2009 si c'est la même que lui
I'm writing in French because I'm at school and don't have time to translate. Don't be mistaken, I didn't buy this 2cv to "make do", because I couldn't get a beetle... I love these cars, especially mine, and I will look after her properly. I was just telling Jozef that this VW in particular, I liked a lot, like many other vintage cars I'll have one day in my garage (Trabant, Renault 4, Split Combi, 404...)
Thanks Etienne, I thought I was getting a stiff telling off... we'll see at the Nationale 2009 if it's the same as his. |

That's right! I made my 2cv like that because I was watching pics of cool hoodride beetles! _________________ www.super2cv.com |

Hey Felox, do what you want with your car! It's your car, after all. But if you want a rust look, why not go for real rust?
Take off all the paint on the outside (visible) parts. Leave underside and inside of panels covered (protected) by paint and/or underseal.
Let it stand outside and watch the natural process of oxidation. It's quite beautiful to see it develop.
Watch every day closely. Parts that are rusting too badly (where water and dirt collect), protect with clear primer. If you don't drive it in winter, it will be OK!
This way, you have more maintenance but way more cool look than fake rust.
Watch the topic "roast duck" for my rusty 2CV. _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.

Hmm, yes... do what you like.
But if you (I mean anyone) can't take any critics, do NOT post on a public forum, where there will always be one Asshole (that's me) who's not going to say : "you're so cool, what you're doing is so great IloveitIloveitIloveit"
Could I please invite everyone, to read the introduction message that can be found here
I don't want to be negative, but this is not an ordinary 2cv Message Board...
But it looks like it's gradually becoming one. _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

Don't Worry Felox.
I think you will able to make something interesting... but be careful and think a lot about your project, in order to do something that really stands out (because it's crazy, or because of it's coolness etc, whatever you think is best)
Simply put : I (I'll let the 2 other Snail moderators speak for themselves) would like to see cars becoming more than just "I lowered my 2cv and changed the colour, Woo hoo ! so cool!!!" I fear that is the turn this board is taking.
Good luck ! _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

Jozef, give a chance to new snailers, let us discover this cultur and also let us try to make something with our snail. May be we 'll make mistake but the more important isn' t to enjoy and have fun.
well, we start by "simply" a new paint but everyone have to start by something else.
"young snailer" need time to "digest" all forum information, and everyone can't lower or change motor and part or built a rooftrack.
I think you should give us more time. |

WTF dude "nicely put" ?????
I think I'm entitled to express what I believe is a "going down the hill syndrome" on this forum.
What are you actually bringing to this forum, in terms of decent input ? please tell me, I'm dying to know....
